Bosun – 50m POSITION FILLED
Bosun required for a 50m new build motor yacht in Europe. Starting in late August, yacht will cruise the Med for the rest of the summer before heading to Florida and Bahamas for the winter.
Candidates must have:
- At least 3 years experience as a deckhand or Bosun aboard yachts over 30m
- Hold a Yachtmaster certificate
- Have good tender operating skills and be proficient in a variety of watersports.
- You must have an excellent work ethic with a positive attitude, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- You should also have the ability to lead and motivate the deck team with good organisational skills and ability to delegate work.
- An excellent eye for detail and yacht maintenance skills such as varnishing, painting, carpentry etc is imperative.
You must also hold:
- A valid USA B1(B2) visa
- A Schengen visa (or EU passport)
- Up to date STCW BST certificates, seafarers medical, and Yachtmaster certificate.
