Chef – 50m POSITION FILLED

Head Chef (sole) required for a new 50m motor yacht in Europe. Starting in Mid August, yacht will cruise the Med for the rest of the summer before heading to Florida and Bahamas for the winter.

  • You should have genuine passion for cooking and be able to produce a variety of cuisines to the highest of standards for up to 16 guests, and healthy meals for 10 crew. 
  • You should be adaptable and be able to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • The knowledge to plan diverse menus and the ability to provision in all cruising areas is essential.
  • You should have fantastic time management and organisational skills, and galley cleanliness is an extremely high priority.

Candidates must have:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Head Chef aboard yachts over 30m.
  • Must hold a valid USA B1(B2) visa, a Schengen visa (or EU passport)
  • Hold up to date STCW BST certificates, seafarers medical, and either a Ships Cook certificate or evidence formal chef training.

There is the potential for rotation in the future.
