Head Chef (sole) required for a new 50m motor yacht in Europe. Starting in Mid August, yacht will cruise the Med for the rest of the summer before heading to Florida and Bahamas for the winter.
You should have genuine passion for cooking and be able to produce a variety of cuisines to the highest of standards for up to 16 guests, and healthy meals for 10 crew.
You should be adaptable and be able to work under pressure and in a team environment.
The knowledge to plan diverse menus and the ability to provision in all cruising areas is essential.
You should have fantastic time management and organisational skills, and galley cleanliness is an extremely high priority.
Candidates must have:
At least 4 years of experience as a Head Chef aboard yachts over 30m.
Must hold a valid USA B1(B2) visa, a Schengen visa (or EU passport)
Hold up to date STCW BST certificates, seafarers medical, and either a Ships Cook certificate or evidence formal chef training.
There is the potential for rotation in the future.
