Captain – 47m POSITION FILLED

We are looking for an experienced hands-on Captain to work with a very experienced owner aboard an immaculately maintained 47m motor yacht, predominantly cruising the Bahamas and USA East Coast. The captain needs to have:

Previous experience as a captain of vessels >40m
Min 3 years experience as a captain
USCG Master 500 or 1600 required
Excellent yacht handling, seamanship and navigation skills
Good longevity with references from previous employers
A very professional attitude and work ethic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous with record keeping, accounts, budgets, budget management and crew admin
Familiar with USA legal and regulatory compliance
USA citizen or Green Card holder

This is a live aboard position and the captain will be required to give the owner, yacht and crew his/her full commitment.
