Captain – 44m MY
We are looking for a captain for a 44m motor yacht with an exciting world cruise planned. Candidates must have an adventurous spirit and be ready to cruise to far out destinations for extended periods away from main stream yachting. You should have extensive experience on similar size yachts and with planing long distance cruising.
You must be able to manage a program that is self sufficient and logistically challenging, and be ready to cruise with guests onboard for extended periods. Bust most importantly you must be ready take the yacht’s owners and friends to the most exciting locations scattered around the world and show them an experience of a life time.
The captain needs to have:
- Previous experience as a captain of vessels >40m
- Min 3 years experience as a captain
- MCA Master 3,000gt or equivalent
- Excellent yacht handling, seamanship and navigation skills
- Good longevity with at least 3 verifiable references from previous employers
- A very professional attitude and work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous with record keeping, accounts, budgets, budget management and crew admin
- Hold a USA B1 visa
