Crew Chef Position on a 43m Motor Yacht (Sole Role)

We are offering an extraordinary opportunity for a Sole Crew Chef aboard a 43m private motor yacht embarking on an exciting world exploration. This is not your typical glamorous charter yacht role – instead, it’s an adventure for those who thrive in remote, off-the-grid locations and are eager to be part of a unique program.

Your responsibilities will include creating healthy and nutritious meals for both the crew and occasionally for the guests when they are on board, as well as managing provisioning and maintaining the galley. You will need to plan efficiently for extended periods away from mainstream yachting hubs.

Key Attributes We’re Looking For:

  • A sense of adventure: You must be ready to cruise to far-flung destinations, embracing the challenges of long-term travel in remote regions.
  • Commitment: This is a hands-on, long-term position requiring someone comfortable with spending long periods at anchor in secluded locations.
  • Proven experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role aboard yachts of comparable size, with the ability to manage provisioning and maintain a well-organized and effective galley.

Requirements:

  • Formal culinary training – Ship’s Cook certificate preferred
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate
  • Seafarers Medical (ENG1)
  • STCW BST (updated if required)
  • Valid USA B1B2 visa, Green Card or citizenship
  • 3 Verifiable references
